JANE CRAFTS CEREMONIES THAT GET TO THE HEART OF THE MATTER - YOU, YOUR PARTNER, AND YOUR JOURNEY.
JANE MIGHT BE THE CELEBRANT FOR YOU IF…
-
I promise to deliver an engaging and enjoyable ceremony - the ceremony shouldn’t feel like ‘a formality’, it’s a rare and beautiful opportunity to reflect and remember why everyone is gathered together! Your guests will walk away feeling warm, engaged and excited for an evening of celebrating you!
-
There’s no denying the fact that getting married is a unique and unusual feeling, I’m sorry but it is! It’s joyful and exciting one minute and then overwhelming the next. I’m with you every step of the way, especially on the day to check in and help you channel those nerves and feel present.
I’ve been told I’m good in a crisis, and whilst a wedding is a far cry from a crisis, I do have the skills and the temperament to help you through the nerves and emotions. I can read a room.
-
I value authenticity and I bring that to my story telling. After getting to know you, I sit down and write your story in a way that aligns with you, your story and is exactly to your taste. Your story will be shared in a way that resonates with your, your family and friends, and will live rent free in your minds for years to come!
get to know jane.
I’m Jane! I celebrated my first wedding in December 2021, and now, four years later, I can’t imagine not marrying wonderful couples every weekend (in wedding season…).
For me, being a Celebrant feels like the most natural use of the skills that I’ve spent years honing. I’ve spent most (all) of my professional life working in media, communications and broadcasting. I’ve worked as a journalist, copy writer, presenter, producer, content director and talent manager - I’ve worked to deadlines, for big media companies, produced celebrity guests and said embarrassing things live on air; I’ve got plenty of stories to tell, but my favourite stories to share are love stories.
My life outside of weddings is relatively millennial… I live in South Melbourne with my husband, our Golden Retriever, Ollie and British Shorthair, Pat. I love swimming, reformer pilates and going to the gym! My coffee order is an iced oat latte or a long black, and if I could choose one food to eat every day for the remainder of time it would be Lasagne!
I don’t have a favourite type of wedding, a favoured venue or aesthetic, the weddings I do love most, are the ones that feel authentic, warm and personal; it’s the most wonderful and natural thing in the world when the atmosphere is electric with genuine love and happiness.
If you’d like to chat about your ceremony, or have any questions, please reach out, I can’t wait to hear all about your plans, and your story.
